Built in the 1950s as a seminary of the Oblate Friars of San Francesco di Sales, the facility then became the Ecumenical Center of the present order. Possessing the best of both worlds, the Center is situated in the midst of its own spacious park, yet is very close to the centre of the city. It can be easily reached by private and public transportation. An old road dating from the time of Saint Francis provides a shortcut (ten minutes) to town. The Frati Oblati has entrusted the management to a lay company that restored the facility while preserving the original atmosphere.
