概述

Casa il Rosario is owned by the Dominican Sisters of Charity and offers a peaceful place to rest and pray, for whoever wishs to visit the Eternal city.

The property is located in the historic centre of Rome, near the Termini station, a few steps from the Roman Forum, Venice Plaza, Trevi Fountain and Colosseum.
Casa il Rosario is open the whole year, and offers accomodation for families, singles and groups, offering a religious tourism, based on the values of hospitality and of spiritual dialogue. Guests must return to the property before midnight each night.

The property offers a Chapel, a conference meeting room, an internal garden and a terrace.

Bookings at Casa il Rosario must be minimum of two nights and maximum of 10 days.

Nice rooms, good food, pleasant staff

Lovely quiet place to retreat to after spending the day in the noise and bustle of Rome. Fantastic breakfast - lots of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, plenty of space. Courtyard garden was pleasant to look out on from the room, and the roof terrace was a bonus! Great value for money. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is that a few things need maintenance - soap dish hanging off the wall in the shower, bedroom door sticking - nothing major, but could be fixed.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was surprisingly plentiful and varied (i've stayed in a few other monasteries before). And the room was super clean and comfortable with a spare pillow and blanket in the wardrobe. I stayed in a room without an en suite which was next door to my room. There was never anyone else in it and again it was always super clean. There is also a roof terrace and a lounge on the second floor but i never got the chance to use either.

Casa Il Rosario is an oasis of calm in the centre of a busy city! The location is just excellent, with many of the sites being just 10 - 20 minutes walk away. Situated in a small cobbled side street, it was a joy to retreat from the mele of traffic at the end of every joyous day exploring. All of the staff were very helpful. Take mozzi repellent if you want to open the windows at night to get cooler air. (Not all rooms have fans or aircon). Very good value for money. Many thanks!

If I come back to Rome will definately be staying here again. Best value for money. So central to everything. The sisters & staff were very friendly & helpful. The overall atmosphere was very calm & peaceful. I loved every moment of my visit. Thankyou once again.

From FCO-Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci airport: By taxi: the cost of regular taxis authorized by the Municipality is € 48 (taxis are white) all included day and night. By private taxi: the guesthouse can book a taxi service with the trusted drivers for € 45 (up to 4 people). By train: the “Leonardo Express” train arrives at the Termini station without intermediate stops. It takes about 30 minutes and leaves every half hour. The ticket costs € 14.

By bus: there are several bus companies operating from Fiumicino airport to Termini station.

From CIA-Ciampino airport: By taxi: the cost of regular taxis authorized by the Municipality is € 30 all inclusive day and night. By bus: there are several bus companies operating from Ciampino airport to Termini station. From Termini railway station: By taxi: the cost is € 10-15. By bus: take bus n ° 40 for two stops or n ° 64 for five stops and get off at the Nazionale / Quirinale stop which is 2-3 minutes walk from Casa Il Rosario. Cross Via Nazionale, take Via Mazzarino, continue through Via Panisperna and you will find Via Santa Agata dei Goti on the descent On foot: it takes about 20 minutes. Recommended to follow Via Cavour to the crossroads with Via dei Serpenti. Turn right on Via dei Serpenti then immediately left on Via Madonna dei Monti, then right on Via dei Neofiti, and continuing up the hill, arrive on Via Santa Agata dei Goti.
