For the monastery's accommodation preference is given to men and women seeking spiritual retreats. However, guests seeking rest, relaxation and meditation are also welcomed. There are 11 single and 11 double rooms, each with a private bath.
Thanks to the protection of the kings of Navarra, the monastery grew to importance in the Middle Ages. During the religious suppressions of the 19th century, the monastery was abandoned and nearly destroyed. It remained closed for almost a century until 1927 at which time it was restored and reopened. The restoration paid strict attention to detail and maintained the integrity of the architecture, ensuring that the monastery's diverse history would remain clearly visible.
