The guest house was completely renovated and enlarged in 1998. It has 14 double rooms, each with private bath.
The structure was built in 1887 by a group of nuns of the Trinitarian Order. The nuns were originally from El Toboso. After a terrible epidemic of tuberculosis caused the death of many of their order, the remaining sisters journeyed to Suesa to build another monastery. Generous donations were made to the order’s cause and within a year, the present building was completed. Until 1974 the nuns taught school to the local population. At that time, they decided to devote themselves entirely to spiritual activities.
All meals can be provided with the lodging.
Towels and linens are provided. There is a meeting room that guests may use.

By car: From Santander head east on the road along the coast (route S430) about 25 km to Suesa. The monastery is on the edge of town.
By train: Get off at Santander and take the bus to the monastery (get off the ”Nautilus” bar. It’s a 5-minute walk to the monastery). From Santander, there is also a ferry to Suesa that leaves every half hour during the summer, every hour during the winter.
