Historie

The Hotel is located in an elegant nineteenth-century building that hosted the Deaconesses of Kaiserswerth until 1987, for almost a hundred years, who offered their services to the evangelical community of Rome.

From the moment of its transformation into a Hotel, the history of the House is linked to that of the Waldensian Faculty of Theology in Rome, not far away, contributing with its profits to its support.

Since December 2013, the Hotel Casa Valdese Roma has been managed by the Waldensian Diaconia and allocates its profits to the Waldensian Faculty of Theology and to the support of the works and projects of the Body, which carries out its activity by enhancing the dimensions of welcoming people, solidarity, environmental sustainability of their work.
