In a calm and peaceful agricultural district, just outside the village of Brecht, you will find Our Lady of Nazareth Abbey, the home of a large community of Trappistine nuns. The abbey is a solid, red brick building--almost castle-like--with a distinctive clock tower rising from the central courtyard. A long wall surrounds the site.
