The complex sits in an area of beech, spruce, sycamore, chestnut and silver fir, a woodland that has been tended and protected for centuries by the monastic order. There are two types of accommodation :
1) Inside the monastery: 160 beds in 90 rooms, most with private bath. Rooms sleep one to four people. Men and women are welcome.
2) The Camaldoli Ospitalità recently began offering hospitality 2003 in various restored farmhouses. The main farmhouse in Soci, a mile or so from the monastery, is managed by Antares, a non-profit organization. Each of the restored buildings has different accommodations and rates.
