Aperçu

The Monastery has 70 beds in single rooms with shared bath, double and triple rooms with private baths (some are located outside the room, with private access). The property welcomes both men and women, please note the priority is generally given to guests coming for spiritual retreats. Other guests have the option of joining the monks in prayer. Access to the monumental, red brick abbey is over a drawbridge which leads to buildings designed in various architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque and Rococo. The red bricks used to build the abbey were derived from the Crete hills, the same source used for the buildings of Siena.
Please Note: The Foresteria Monastica may be closed during some periods of the year. Inquire when making reservations.
