For those arriving on the Tarvisio-Palmanova motorway, A23, take the Udine Nord exit, follow the directions for Cividale del Friuli, once you have reached the town follow the signs for Castelmonte.

For those coming from Gorizia, follow the directions for Cormons, Corno di Rosazzo, Cividale del Friuli, once you have reached the town, follow the signs for Castelmonte.

Public transport The Sanctuary is reached daily by the bus, SAF autoservizi, which makes the Udine (9.00 am) - Castelmonte (9.50 am) route, you can get on at the stops along the way to Cividale. To get off, the departure is at 12.10 from the square of the Sanctuary and arrival in Udine at 13.00, also in this case you can get off at the intermediate stops.

The bus does not operate on the days: January 1st, Easter, May 1st, Christmas and in case of snow or ice.
